The newly elected Western North Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Pious Vincent Abakah, has said the party’s newly elected regional executives will do everything possible to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid to become President in the 2028 general elections.
According to Mr. Abakah, the immediate task of the new regional leadership is to reunite and reorganise the party while bringing all members on board to strengthen the NPP ahead of the 2028 elections.
“Our aim is to do whatever we can to make Dr. Bawumia President in the 2028 general elections,” he said.
He further pledged that the new executives would work to reclaim all parliamentary seats in the Western North Region that were lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr. Abakah called for unity, discipline and collective commitment among party members as the NPP prepares to return to power.
Pious Vincent Abakah won the NPP Western North Regional Chairmanship election with 100 votes, emerging victorious in the keenly contested race.
