Residents and students of Akim Nyanoa in upper west Akim district have become stranded as their bridge which serve them between central region and eastern region collapsed.
Akim Nyanoa is a farming community with a large number of population but access to basic social amenities is very poor leading to the collapsed of their footbridge.
According to the residents and the students their lives are at risk due to the collapsed of their footbridge a situation they describe as worrying and very pathetic.
Speaking to legendreport , the residents and the students said, vehicles can no longer cross the bridge leaving residents and passengers stranded.
The residents and the students are therefore calling on their member of Parliament for the area Emmanuel Kwesi Drah as matter of urgency come to their aid before any tragedy happen .
Meanwhile the chief of Akim Nyanoa Barima Opoku Okyere also express his grievances about the situation to legendreport .
