The Western North Regional Minister, Wilbert Petty Brentum, has inspected a number of development projects being undertaken under the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality.
The Minister, accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Dominic Gyasi, and other dignitaries, began the inspection tour with an engagement with staff of the Municipal Assembly before proceeding to various project sites across the municipality.
Among the projects inspected were:
- Completed CHPS Compound at Kojina-Essakrom
- 24-Hour Economy Market at Sefwi Asawinso
- CHPS Compound at Keteboi
- Classroom blocks at Nyamedae, Pewodie and Dwinase Methodist
- State-of-the-art Maternity Block at the Sefwi Wiawso Government Hospital
- Completed KG Block with Kitchen and Office at Sefwi KwasiAddaekrom
Wilbert Petty Brentum commended Hon. Dominic Gyasi and the technical team of the Municipal Assembly for their efforts and commitment towards the implementation of development projects in the municipality.
He noted that the progress of the projects demonstrates the Assembly’s commitment to supporting the government’s Resetting Ghana Agenda and ensuring that development reaches communities across the municipality.
The inspection also provided an opportunity for the Regional and Municipal authorities to assess the progress and quality of the projects while reaffirming their commitment to improving infrastructure and service delivery for residents of the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality.
