The Chief Executive Officer of Matcom Group of Companies, Mr. Gideon Brenya Agyapong, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters by the Elohim Theological College and Seminary in recognition of his dedication and service to humanity.
The honour was conferred on Mr. Agyapong due to his outstanding contributions towards the development of people in the Western North Region, particularly within the Sefwi area. The institution acknowledged his commitment to supporting communities and promoting social welfare through his business and philanthropic activities.

Speaking during the conferment ceremony, the President of Elohim Theological College and Seminary, Prof. Dr. Kwame Aburam Annofe, stated that the honorary degree was awarded to Mr. Agyapong because of his commitment and dedication to serving society.
According to Prof. Dr. Annofe, the recognition is not only an honour but also a call for Mr. Agyapong to continue his good works and contribute more towards the growth and development of the people of the Sefwi area and the country at large.
