The chairman of the Western North NPP Regional Election Committee, Stephen Forson, has confirmed that Benjamin Armah, a contestant for the regional chairman, has pulled out of the contest.
He indicated that the incumbent Regional Chairman has withdrawn from the contest. However, he failed to provide the reasons for his withdrawal.
In the Western North NPP Regional Elections, a total of 199 delegates are expected to exercise their franchise at Sefwi Wiawso – Dwenase. Authorities have provided sufficient security, and electoral processes are moving smoothly.
