Former Deputy Finance Minister and former NPP parliamentary candidate for the Juaboso Constituency, Dr. Alex Ampaabeng, has spoken on the ongoing Western North Regional NPP executive elections.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Ampaabeng said the organisation of the elections has been peaceful, with a good atmosphere for the exercise.
He also commended the security arrangements, describing them as well organised.

However, he said his major concern was the presence of delegates at the voting centre.
According to him, some delegates are not yet at the voting centre, while others have gathered in groups where aspirants are still presenting their visions and making their final appeals to them.
Dr. Ampaabeng said such engagements are normal and form part of the electoral process, as aspirants seek to convince delegates before voting.
He urged delegates to vote for candidates based on dedication and competence, which, he said, are important qualities needed to lead the party in the Western North Region
