A woman has successfully delivered quadruplets (four baby boys) at the Juaboso Government Hospital in the Western North Region.

Speaking to legendreport , the Principal Midwifery Officer in charge of the maternity ward, Madam Francisca Aidoo, disclosed that the mother was referred from Enchi Government Hospital to Juaboso due to the complexity of her pregnancy.

According to Madam Aidoo, Enchi Government Hospital does not have a gynecologist, making it necessary to transfer the expectant mother to Juaboso Government Hospital for specialized care. She explained that the woman spent over a month at the hospital under close medical observation before delivery.

Madam Aidoo stated that on June 3, doctors successfully performed a Caesarean section to deliver the four babies. The newborns are currently receiving care at the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

She appealed to the public to support the family, noting that caring for four newborn babies at once would be a significant challenge.

Madam Aidoo revealed that hospital staff have been assisting the family since their arrival at the facility. She explained that the father of the babies is a farmer with a limited income and already has other children to care for.

She, therefore, called on individuals, organizations, philanthropists, and the general public to support the family with diapers, baby clothing, food items, cash donations, and other essential supplies.

The father of the quadruplets, Suami Yiri Allah, also appealed for assistance from the public. He described the situation as overwhelming and said the family urgently needs support to care for the babies.

He appealed for donations of food items, baby products, clothing, and financial assistance, adding that the family has spent more than a month at the hospital and is facing financial difficulties.

The family expressed gratitude to the hospital staff and all well-wishers who have supported them so far and appealed for continued assistance from Ghanaians.
