The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Juaboso Constituency has welcomed another former member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Williams Fuachie, popularly known as Paa Wully, following his decision to join the NDC.
According to a statement issued by the NDC Juaboso Constituency Communications Team, Mr Fuachie was formerly an NPP Electoral Area Coordinator and a member of the party’s Communications Team before deciding to switch political allegiance.
The constituency described his decision as an opportunity to strengthen the party’s engagement with individuals from different political backgrounds who are willing to contribute to its activities and democratic development.
The NDC also assured its newest member of a welcoming political environment where everyone is respected and given the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the party’s growth.
The Communications Team has therefore called on constituency executives, branch executives, communicators, sympathisers and grassroots members to warmly embrace Mr Fuachie and demonstrate the party’s values of unity, tolerance and togetherness.
The statement further urged members to put aside personal differences, avoid unnecessary political rivalry and concentrate on strengthening the party’s structures at the constituency and grassroots levels.
The latest defection adds to the political developments in the Juaboso Constituency as the two major political parties continue to position themselves ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The NDC Juaboso Constituency Communications Team concluded by officially welcoming Williams Fuachie, popularly known as Paa Wully, into the party, describing the NDC as one political family with a shared destiny.
