The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Aowin, Dr Stephen Morcher, has pledged to sponsor the feeding of all 1,620 delegates expected to participate in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency elections in Aowin on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
The NDC is scheduled to hold its constituency-level elections across the country as part of efforts to elect executives to lead the party at the constituency level.
Dr Morcher said he would personally finance the feeding arrangements for all delegates expected to take part in the Aowin constituency election.
“I will feed all the 1,620 delegates,” he said.
According to him, the party has made arrangements to provide transportation support for delegates travelling from various communities to participate in the election. He added that, in his capacity as MCE, he would take responsibility for their feeding.
Dr Morcher also urged delegates to elect executives they believe can effectively lead the party in the Aowin Constituency.
A total of 1,620 delegates are expected to cast their votes in the constituency election scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026.
