The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is preparing to hold its regional executive elections from November 13 to 16, 2026, across the country, following the completion of constituency-level elections.
In the Western North Region, the elections are scheduled for November 13 and 14, 2026, at the Bia Lamplighter College of Education in the Bia West Constituency.
Prince Ofori Nkrumah, an aspirant for the position of Regional First Vice Chairman, has explained that his decision to contest is driven by his desire to strengthen the party’s constituency-level structures and improve their capacity to function effectively.

According to him, constituency executives have been confronted with resource and capacity challenges, which he believes are partly due to neglect. He indicated that, if elected, he would work to ensure that constituency executives receive the necessary support and benefit from the party’s structures.
He further emphasised that a strong regional party structure must translate into meaningful support for constituency executives to enable them to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
Speaking on Life FM this morning during a radio engagement with delegates, Prince Ofori Nkrumah outlined his vision and appealed for their support ahead of the regional elections.
He urged delegates to consider his candidacy when they cast their ballots on November 14, expressing confidence that his leadership would help strengthen the party from the constituency level.
Prince Ofori Nkrumah is contesting for the Regional First Vice Chairman position with Number 4 on the ballot paper.
