The Bodi Circuit Court has acquitted and discharged three family members who were accused of armed robbery at a mining site at Abrokofe in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.
Onua News has made a series of reports since the year 2025 about the three individuals who are brothers and have been arrested at Abrokofe in the Juaboso District.
The accused persons were Francis Enning, 26; Gideon Tano, 21; and Anthony Ahwoi, 22.
These individuals have been in police custody for about nine months since the trial began.
On Thursday, July 9, 2026, the court brought finality to the case.

The presiding judge, His Honour James Mensah Donkor, reading the judgement, said the prosecution lacks evidence in the case.
He added that the first and second witnesses did not prove any evidence was in the witness.
The judge said the prosecution has no evidence of the three brothers being guilty on the charge against them, and therefore, the court acquitted and discharged them of the case.
France Atta Owusu, who is the uncle of the brothers, said the family thanks the court for giving a fair judgement in the case.
He said he believes this has brought hope in the judicial system again because his nephews were arrested without any evidence in the case.
Mr Owusu said his nephews have been in police custody for about nine months, but finally the truth has come out.
