Our decision is also informed by a statement issued by the Western North Journalists Association, which indicated that no official arrangements had been made by the party for media coverage and advised its members to exercise caution. As a member of the Association, Legendreport.com has taken this advice seriously in the interest of the safety and well-being of our staff.
We wish to state categorically that our decision should not be interpreted as an act of bias or hostility towards the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western North Region. We believe there is a need to strengthen communication and collaboration between the party and the media, particularly regarding accreditation, security, and logistical arrangements for major events. Such measures will enable journalists to carry out their duties confidently and professionally.
