The Chief Executive Officer of Legendreport, Emmanuel Sowah, has appealed to Nana Ofori Ahenkah II, Chief of Sefwi Boinzan and Acting President of the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council, to intervene and help ensure that the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, fulfills his promise to donate a new school bus to Juaboso Senior High School (JUASEC).
During President Mahama’s thank-you tour of the Western North Region in June 2025, he visited Sefwi Juaboso and made a heartfelt commitment to provide a brand-new school bus for JUASEC. The promise was warmly welcomed by students, staff, parents, and the entire Juaboso community, who viewed it as a significant boost to the school’s development.

However, a year after the announcement, the promised bus has not yet been delivered, raising concerns among stakeholders of the school. During the launch of JUASEC’s 35th Anniversary Celebration on 11th June 2026, Emmanuel Sowah made a passionate appeal through Nana Affum Payin, who represented Nana Ofori Ahenkah II at the event. He urged the traditional leader to use his influence and respected position to engage President Mahama and remind him of his commitment to the school.
According to Mr Sowah, the delivery of the bus would greatly support the school’s transportation needs and contribute to the continued growth and success of the institution. He emphasized that honoring the promise would further demonstrate the President’s commitment to educational development in the Western North Region.

As JUASEC celebrates 35 years of excellence in education, many stakeholders remain hopeful that the promised school bus will soon be delivered to support the school’s mission of nurturing future leaders for Ghana.
