Juaboso Senior High School (JUASEC) has officially launched its 35th Anniversary Celebration, marking thirty-five years of excellence in education and contribution to national development.
Speaking at the launch, the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Christian Dedjoe-Djokotoe, stated that the school has come a long way since its establishment and has made significant contributions to society through the production of professionals in various fields, including law, education, and other sectors that support national development.
He noted that although the school continues to perform well academically and in other areas, there are several infrastructure challenges that need urgent attention to improve teaching and learning conditions.
According to him, the school lacks adequate dormitory facilities and beds for students in the boarding house. He added that due to classroom shortages and infrastructure deficits, the school continues to face challenges in effectively managing student accommodation and academic activities.
Mr. Dedjoe-Djokotoe appealed to the government, through the Ministry of Education, to complete the abandoned and uncompleted school projects. He explained that completing these facilities would help address infrastructure challenges and support the effective operation of the school.
He also called on individuals, alumni, corporate bodies, and other stakeholders to support the development of the school through donations and other forms of assistance.
The grand anniversary celebration is scheduled for 14th November 2026 under the theme: “35 Years of Educational Excellence: Celebrating the Past, Inspiring the Future.
The Headmaster further appealed to traditional authorities, alumni, parents, and the general public to support and participate in the celebration, which will highlight the school’s achievements and contributions to the development of the district and the nation.
