Social media polls conducted by LegendReport to gauge public opinion on the performance of Juaboso District Chief Executive (DCE), Alexander Adu Quist, have generated mixed reactions across various platforms, with a majority of the recorded responses expressing support for his performance.

The polls, which were conducted on WhatsApp, Facebook and TikTok, sought to find out whether residents and social media users believe the DCE is performing well in his role.

On WhatsApp, five comments were recorded, with four respondents saying the DCE was doing well, while one expressed the view that he was not meeting expectations.

On Facebook, the post recorded approximately 5,000 views, no likes and two comments. The two comments presented opposing views on the DCE’s performance.

Meanwhile, TikTok recorded 1,400 views, 86 likes, 24 comments and four favourites. All 24 comments reportedly expressed positive views about the DCE’s performance.

Poll Results at a Glance

  • WhatsApp: 5 comments — 4 positive and 1 negative.
  • Facebook: Approximately 5,000 views, 0 likes and 2 comments expressing opposing views.
  • TikTok: 1,400 views, 86 likes, 24 positive comments and 4 favourites.

The results show that positive responses dominated the comments recorded on WhatsApp and TikTok, while Facebook users who commented expressed differing opinions.

However, the figures represent engagement from a limited number of social media users and should not be interpreted as a scientific poll or a representative assessment of the views of all residents of the Juaboso District. Views, likes, comments and favourites also measure different forms of engagement.

The poll highlights the importance of continued public discussion about the performance of local government officials and the need for residents to assess their leaders based on development projects, service delivery, accountability and their impact on communities.
