The Minister for Health and Member of Parliament for the Juaboso Constituency, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has directed that the victims of the Sayerano police shooting who sustained gunshot injuries be transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for further medical treatment.

The decision follows appeals from community leaders, who expressed concern that the two injured victims continue to suffer from their gunshot wounds and require specialised medical care.
The Health Minister instructed the Juaboso District Chief Executive, Alexander Adu Quist, to make the necessary arrangements to facilitate the transfer of the victims. He also assured the families that he would personally bear all costs associated with the referral and treatment.

Mr. Akandoh made the announcement during a visit to the community alongside the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to commiserate with the bereaved families and the injured victims.
He further appealed to residents to remain calm and continue cooperating with the police as investigations into the incident continue.
