The Akontombra Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has commended LegendReport.com for its contribution to promoting the Western North Region through impactful and community-focused journalism.
Speaking on behalf of the constituency, Randy Ofori, Deputy Communications Officer of the Akontombra NDC, described LegendReport.com as a media platform that has consistently highlighted developments, achievements, challenges and opportunities within the region.
According to him, “LegendReport.com is the only online portal in the Western North Region that has positively projected the region”, particularly through its coverage of issues and activities that contribute to putting Western North on the national and international media map.
He noted that the platform’s reporting has provided communities, institutions and individuals with an avenue to share their stories while drawing attention to developments across the various districts and constituencies in the region. He commended the management and journalists of LegendReport.com for their dedication to reporting on matters of public interest.
Randy Ofori congratulated LegendReport.com on its first anniversary and encouraged the platform to maintain professionalism, accuracy, fairness and responsible journalism as it continues to grow. He said the Akontombra NDC appreciates the role of the media in development and wished LegendReport.com continued success in its efforts to project the Western North Region.
