Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has officially ended her seven-year professional and contractual relationship with music group Keche Global.
According to a statement issued by GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, the relationship began in 2019 and continued through 2026, during which Joana Gyan Cudjoe served as Executive Producer and provided financial, managerial and professional support to the group.
The statement said the agreement has expired and Joana Gyan Cudjoe has decided not to renew or continue the professional relationship.
As a result, Keche Global will no longer operate under her management, representation, investment or business operations.
The statement stressed that the decision was made peacefully and was not the result of a fight, hatred, bitterness or controversy.
During the seven-year partnership, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe is reported to have supported the group in music production, music videos, marketing, promotion, artist development, branding, photography, travel, performances, management and other creative projects.
She also travelled with the group and invested resources towards its development and international expansion.
The statement noted that several songs and creative projects were released during the period, including collaborations with artistes such as Akwaboah, Kuami Eugene, Fameye, Epixode, Mr. Drew and Lasmid.
It further stated that during her involvement with the group, Hon. Joana changed the group’s name from Keche to Keche Global, reflecting her vision of taking the group to a wider African and international audience.
Despite the end of the professional relationship, the statement clarified that the decision does not affect the personal and family relationship between Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe and Keche Andrew, Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, who is her husband.
Keche Global will continue as a music group, with Andrew Kofi Cudjoe and Joshua Kojo Ampah continuing their musical careers together.
Joana Gyan Cudjoe also encouraged fans in Ghana, Africa and around the world to continue supporting Keche Global by streaming their music, watching their videos, following their social media platforms and attending their performances.
On issues concerning music and creative rights, GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd said any affected rights, interests or ownership arrangements would be handled professionally in accordance with applicable agreements and the law.
The statement said Joana Gyan Cudjoe now intends to focus on new talents, music projects, investments and other business opportunities through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd.
It described the end of the partnership as the closing of one professional chapter and the beginning of new chapters for all parties.
