The Western North Regional Minister, Wilbert Petty Brentum, has commended the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Akontombra, Joseph Appiah, and the Akontombra District Assembly for their commitment to quality development projects in the district.

The Minister made the commendation when he visited the Akontombra District as part of his ongoing inspection of government and Assembly projects across the Western North Region.
During the inspection, Mr. Brentum visited two major projects in the district, including a health centre at Abronehia and a storey building project at Akontombra intended to support school infrastructure.

Speaking after inspecting the projects, the Regional Minister said he was impressed with the quality of work he had seen so far.
I am overwhelmed with the two projects I have seen so far,” he said.
Mr. Brentum commended the Akontombra DCE, Joseph Appiah, and the District Assembly for ensuring that contractors were executing the projects according to the required standards.
He also praised the contractors for avoiding shoddy work and for delivering quality workmanship on the projects.

The Regional Minister said he would be even more encouraged to see the same level of quality maintained as he continues his inspection of development projects across the district.
The inspection forms part of the Regional Minister’s oversight responsibility to assess the progress and quality of development projects and ensure that they are delivered to the required standards for the benefit of residents.
